The first research report was prepared by researchers at RMIT University and is the latest in a series of ongoing evaluations of the effectiveness of the Saver Plus program, focusing on the experience of participants from the 2006-2009 period. The second was prepared by researchers at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and assesses the experiences of Saver Plus participants to better understand the savings challenges faced by low-income people. Encouragingly, 75 per cent of participants continue to save the same amount or more 12-24 months after completing Saver Plus.
