The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) is committed to ensuring that its research informs policy and practice in the tertiary education sector. In 2008 the organisation undertook a study on the impact of its research (Stanwick, Hargreaves & Beddie 2009), which demonstrated that, with effort and some cost, it was possible to establish the extent to which NCVER research had been used.
