This report presents a ‘systematic review’ of relevant studies (published in English) that attempt to provide quantitative measures of the costs of homelessness and/or the benefits from interventions to reduce homelessness. The review is (loosely) based on the protocols for systematic research reviews established by ‘the Cochrane collaboration’, an international group of medical researchers who instituted what has become a continuing review of key studies and findings in specific areas of medical research.
