This report provides information on the dental decay experience of Australian children from the Child Dental Health Survey (CDHS) 2005. Data for this survey have been derived from routine examination data from a random sample of children enrolled in the School Dental Service (SDS). Decay experience is measured by the number of decayed, missing and filled teeth.
