This report examines fifteen indicators of community strength across the 79 Local Government Areas in Victoria. Four new indicators have been included from the first report "Indicators of Community Strength in Victoria". These are participation in organised sport, liking the community you live in, parental participation in schools and participation on decision making boards and committees. The report shows there is significant variation in aspects of community strength across Local Government Areas and that it is therefore important to take the character of local areas into account when developing policies designed to strengthen communities
