July 1997 Includes references (p. 24) This is the final report in a two part evaluation of the Family Friends Program. The interim evaluation was completed in April 1996. "Family Friends" was a pilot program of the Brotherhood of St Laurence which grew out of an earlier program on homelessness among young women. Family Friends was designed to assist vulnerable young women who were in the transition to motherhood.
